Partly the reason I ever joined Kuju Brighton (Zoë Mode), Youtopia was intended to be a handheld game that created personalised experiences from accessing your stored music, videos and photos.
It went through a fair few iterations – the video above was a later one; I wish, I wish, I WISH I still had access to the original one, it was a thing of beauty.
Prior to even that, it was called Melodie, and was intended to create platform levels from your stored music (like a seriously steroided Vib Ribbon).
Anyway, here are some bits and pieces from it’s development. You can see how it changed….
