Friends and Dragons

In 2022 I was very priviliged to be asked for work by The Trailer Farm in Brighton, who were making a number of trailers (of course!) for the Friends and Dragons game.

In all honesty I never saw a finished video so I don’t know how much, if any, of the work I produced was used, but I had a lot of fun doing it – especially as it was the first time I’d ever been asked professionally to create a dragon.

I’ll be honest, there were some criteria to observe so it might not have been the creature I’d have liked to produce if left to my own devices but that’s the nature of the work and an aspect of challenge I enjoy.

A further condition was that the dragon and background elements all needed to be built to separate layers so they could be animated and put together in a paralax style to produce and illusion of depth.

The later work was for a Gilliam-esque take on the same product, requiring me to produce a range of assets for the video artist to work with.
